One hour, every evening
Every day from 20:00 to 21:00 (Korean time) an ancient relic opens at orbit 17. Send fleets to raid it, build up contribution, and the reward arrives in one payment when the event closes.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Window | Daily 20:00 – 21:00 (KST) |
| Coordinate | Orbit 17 (orbit 16 is deep space) |
| Defenses | None — anyone can attack |
| Fleet losses | None |
| Flight time | One fifth — the same for every hull and distance |
| Payout | All at once when the event closes |
No defenses, no losses — pure gain. That makes the one-hour window the only real constraint. With flight time at one fifth, a short hop lets you run it two or three times.
What it pays
Your score is the total resource value of the fleet you commit. The reward is 15% of that score, split across the three resources.
| Resource | Share | At a score of 1,000,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Metal | 50% | 75,000 |
| Crystal | 30% | 45,000 |
| Gas | 20% | 30,000 |
| Total | 15% | 150,000 |
Gas is a generous 20% here on purpose. Gas is fleet fuel, so what you earn this run pays for the next one.
Tech fragments
Each attack has a 2% chance of 1–10 unknown tech fragments. They are separate from the resource reward; the rolls accumulate and are paid out with the resources when the event ends.
Expeditions give 3–8, so the ceiling here is higher — but at 2% you need to take part regularly for it to mean anything.
Orbit 17 is relic-only
Only the Relic Raid mission can target orbit 17. Scouting, transport, deploy, colonize and everything else is refused — it is an event coordinate, not a planet.
Ways to lose out
- Launching at 20:55. Arrive after the window closes and nothing is scored. Work out the round trip before you send.
- Sending only freighters. The score is resource value, not cargo capacity. What the hulls cost is what counts.
- Sending everything in one go. The score accumulates, so splitting it changes nothing — except that fragments roll per attack, so more runs means a better fragment expectation.
Then the pirates come
The Relic Raid closes at 21:00, the Pirate Raid warning appears at 21:10, and the fighting starts at 21:30. That leaves you twenty minutes to spend relic loot on defenses.
